Batches

Batches

The Batches menu provides an overview of open and closed batches, including the location where each batch was created. This is also where a batch is closed when it is completed, or reopened if any registrations are missing.

Close batch

The table shows a list of created batches - see here for how to create a batch. When a batch is completed and all pigs have been registered as departed, the batch is closed. This allows the supplier number to be used for the next batch.

  • Click the arrow next to the batch you want to close.

  • Click "Reopen/Edit Batch".
  • Enter the end date.
  • Uncheck "Open".
  • Click "Next".
  • Check that all information has been entered correctly. If yes, click "Send" - otherwise, click "Edit" and correct any errors.

Reopen a batch

  • Click the arrow next to the batch you want to reopen.
  • Click "Reopen/Edit" Batch".
  • Check the box for "Open".
  • Click "Next".
  • Verify that all information has been entered. If yes, click "Send" - otherwise, click "Edit" and correct any errors.

It it also possible to delete a batch. Please note that all data related to the batch will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
