Insertion

Each time pigs are inserted, it must be registered in the app or dashboard. The registration can be created at the barn or section level, depending on whether you have an additional module with sections and what you have chosen in your barn setup. Once you have selected the location for the registration, you can click on the "i" in the upper right corner, and a help video will open, explaining and reviewing how to register the insertion of pigs.

To register an insertion, do the following:

  • Click on “+ Registration” and then click on “Insertion”.
  • For location: Selected in the first step with the dropdown menu “This applies to”.
  • Insertion date: Select the date of insertion in the calendar. You can select a date in the past if, for example, you need to input a registration you missed, but you cannot insert pigs on a future date.
  • Total inserted: Enter the number of pigs being inserted at the location.
  • Avg. weight (kg): Enter the average weight per pig for the inserted pigs. If you have a total weight from, for example, a truck, you should divide the total weight by the number of pigs. Example: You receive 7 kg pigs from the sow herd, and the pigs are weighed on the truck. There are a total of 740 pigs, and they weigh 4,900 kg in total. 4,900 kg / 740 pigs = 6.62 kg. Enter 6.6 kg in the “Avg. weight (kg)” field.
  • Weight distribution: Here, you can indicate the spread of the pigs' weight. Try clicking on the “Weight distribution” field. A diagram will appear with a "slider" at the bottom. If there is a large difference between the smallest and the largest pig, you can move the "slider" to the right. If the pigs are very uniform in weight, move the "slider" to the left to reduce the spread. Remember to click “Save” when you are finished.
  • "+ Calculate price": Calculates the price per pig based on the setup you have configured in Settings → Setup → Listing price settings.” If you have not set up a pricing model, the price will be calculated based on the base price. However, you can also choose to manually enter a price. If you click “+ Calculate price,” the calculated price will automatically appear in the “Price transport incl. (Kr/pig)” field.
  • Weaner supplier (CHR): Enter the CHR number of your weaner supplier. This is used when reporting to the CHR registry.
  • "+ Submit to CHR": Click this to report directly to CHR that you have received pigs. After this, it is no longer necessary to report via SVINEFLYT.
    • Click on "+ Submit to CHR".
    • Check the box "Submit to CHR".
    • Fill in the Date for CHR (date and time), the license plate of the truck, the license plate of the trailer (if applicable), and the Country code for both the truck and the trailer (if applicable).
  • Click "Next".
  • Check that you have filled in all the information correctly. If yes, click “Send”. Otherwise, click “Edit” and correct any errors.
