Notification center

Notification center

The Notification center contains messages about things like feed deliveries, alarms or warnings, task assignments, etc. It is important that you check the notification center, especially if you have not set up automatic approval of feed deliveries. If you receive a notification about a delivery but do not approve it, it will affect your dynamic estimates for feed conversion.

Feed deliveries

Each time you receive feed from one of the feed suppliers with whom a data exchange agreement has been made, you will receive a notification asking you to confirm the delivery. The notification contains information about where the feed was delivered, the feed mix name, date, quantity, price, and feed supplier. If the delivery is correct, approve it, and only then will the feed delivery appear in the log. You can also edit the delivery from the log. You can find the log in the left main menu on the dashboard by clicking on "Log."

Edit a feed delivery

In the notification, you can click on "Edit", which will open a new window. Here, you can change the location of the delivery or split it into multiple locations. To split a delivery, click on "+ Split." Then select the location and enter the quantity you wish to move to the new location. Be sure to reduce the quantity on the original location. If you click on "+ Original delivery," you can see the information of the original delivery.

Missing feed mix

The first time you receive a delivery of a new feed mix, you will recieve a yellow feed notification with the text "You have received an unknown feed delivery...". This means that you need to create a feed mix, which will be linked to the feed delivery. The reason for this is that not all data is included from the feed supplier. The data that comes with the feed supplier (price, nutrient content) is what is included in the calculations. If any data is missing, the information entered for the mix will be used instead.
